Emma practices exclusively in family/divorce law.
She provides exceptional services in all areas of family law including divorce, child support, spousal support or alimony, parenting, division of property, adoptions, prenuptial or cohabitation agreements and separation agreements. Emma has extensive experience in litigation, negotiation, mediation and arbitration.
Born and raised in Victoria, Emma completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in history and political science from the University of Toronto. Emma subsequently attended the University of Calgary Faculty of Law where she completed her J.D. and received the Vallance Price for excellence in Family Law. She commenced her legal career in Calgary, Alberta before returning to Victoria. Emma joined Horne Coupar LLP in 2016 to expand Horne Coupar LLP’s practice in family law. Emma is based at the Oak Bay office and is also available to meet with clients at the downtown location.
Emma is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Alberta.
