Alan brings a practical approach to his practice, and seeks out pragmatic solutions to his clients’ legal issues. He is interested in practicing in the areas of family law, administrative law, estate planning, and general civil litigation including debt collection.

Alan was born in Regina and raised in British Columbia. He moved to Victoria in 2007 after a career as a class 1 truck driver. He completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Victoria in 2014 before attending his first year of law school at the University of Calgary. He moved back to Victoria in 2015 and completed his Juris Doctor with Co-op designation at the University of Victoria in December 2017. He completed his articles with Horne Coupar LLP in January of 2019.

Alan loves spending his free time with his beautiful wife Kelly and their 2 boys. When not at work or with his family, Alan can usually be found on the ice trying to keep pucks out of the net.
