Suzanne Grant - Associate
Suzanne articled with Horne Coupar in 2012 and then joined the firm in early 2013, building her practice as a litigator. Her preferred areas of practice are wills and estates, adult guardianship, debtor-creditor, landlord-tenant, personal injury and employment matters. Suzanne has appeared in BC Supreme Court and Court of Appeal chambers, and provincial court.
Suzanne graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, where she developed an interest in wills, estates, and elder law as a co-op student. She gained experience at the Office of the BC Ombudsperson, a local tax law firm, a Vancouver litigation firm, and at the Law Center. Before starting her legal career, Suzanne obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies at the University of British Columbia, and holds a Certificate in Immigration Consulting.
She is a member-at-large of the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Estates subsection, and a member of the board of the Restorative Justice Society of Victoria. Though she has retired from her career as a tree planter, she now enjoys recreational hiking and camping on the island. Suzanne stays active running, cycling, and spending time with her young family.
